Punta Cana Dominican Republic

We recently returned from our Club Med Punta Cana holiday, and it was a truly wonderful experience in such a beautiful resort!

The absolute highlight of my daughter's holiday was the Mini Club. She enjoyed every moment and activity and as a parent it was incredibly reassuring to see how well cared for the children are. A heartfelt thank you in particular to the whole 8-10 years Mini Club team (Petersen, Jackson, Banana, Junior, Kimberley, Samuel, Yvlie - captured in the attached pictures) for their energy, kindness and for creating so many fun, engaging, and memorable moments for the kids. My daughter came home with a big smile, new friends, and unforgettable memories.

The resort itself is very big and beautiful (so you will definitely get in your daily steps :)), with well‑tended gardens and a stunning beach that make the whole setting feel relaxed and welcoming. It is conveniently located just 5-10 minutes from the airport but with no planes flying over the resort to create any noise. I also really loved the colorful colonial-style apartments/houses, which give the resort a lot of charm and character.
The facilities were excellent, clean and the restaurants consistently offered a wide variety of high-quality meals and snacks to suit all tastes. There was always something delicious to enjoy throughout the day. A special mention also goes to the friendly bar team, who kept us well hydrated with wonderful drinks and great service.

For me personally, a big plus was that this is the first Club Med resort I’ve visited with a dedicated coffee shop — such a great addition and very much appreciated!

My only constructive feedback would be regarding the bathrooms in the colonial apartments, which would benefit from renovation and improved maintenance, as they felt a bit dated compared to the rest of the resort.

Overall, this was a fantastic and great value for money holiday filled with relaxation, fun, and so many special memories. We would happily return and highly recommend Club Med Punta Cana, especially for families with children.

This club is stunning and huge, but has everything you could possibly need. My mom and I went for an adult mother-daughter trip and while there were clearly so many options for kids and families, we still had more than enough to do ourselves. I spent time sailing, playing tennis everyday and golfed once. Honestly could have done so much more. We stayed in the adults-only area which was calm and peaceful, but anytime we wanted more energy, the main pool and beach had plenty going on. It was the perfect balance.

A special thank you to Javier, the tennis pro. He’s exceptional. He meets you exactly where you’re at while still pushing you to improve, and he honestly helped me rediscover my love for tennis. My private lessons with him were incredibly valuable, but even in group classes he puts in so much effort and attention. He’s kind, engaging, and somehow remembers people from years ago, which says a lot. He's so genuine and you can see his passion for his job and sport clear as day. He’s the kind of coach people would go out of their way to come back to.

Also want to recognize a few others who made a big impact. Elodie at concierge was amazing, so calm, warm, and incredibly capable. She helped us with multiple requests and always made you feel like you were in good hands the moment you spoke to her. She's also super funny. Aimet at breakfast was always such a positive start to the day, Jameson on the sports team brought great energy, Katrine and Melanie in Pilates/stretching were consistently encouraging and welcoming, Luca the leisure manager was approachable and genuinely kind, Youyou in entertainment brought such a fun and lively atmosphere, Mr. White’s water yoga was thoughtful and unique, Alzero made beginner tennis fun and easy to get into, and Damaris at Indigo was attentive and consistently excellent.

I was our first time there and it was so lovely. The only improvement I would hope for in the future is replacing the dumbbells in the gym. Overall it was great!

My daughter and I had an amazing experience at Club Med. We stayed in the Zen area and enjoyed the peace a quiet. We enjoyed tennis, sailing, the beach, Pilates, stretching, golf and so much more. I highly recommend Javier at the tennis centre who offered fun, engaging clinics as well as private lessons. He was able to tailor drills to varying skill levels, teach new skills with ease, accommodate for injuries and made it all fun. He is kind, considerate and we hope to see him on our next vacation. We also enjoyed clinics run by Alvero and golf by Jorge. Elodie in the concierge area was wonderful. She has a calm, caring approach and is so efficient in everything she does. Melanie and Catherine were inspirational and kept us going during morning and evening stretch as well as Pilates. Youyou, Luca, Mr White and so many more of the GOs were always checking in to make sure everything was great.
