La Caravelle Guadeloupe - French Caribbean

This is a great sport on the Caribbean - Club Med takes care of your from the moment you exist baggage claim. Food is good and plentiful catering to every taste. Children have plenty to do at the kids club (assuming they understand French). and plenty of music and entertainment. the Staff are friendly, beach is clear and activities abound. This island is considered part of mainland France (not a territory) so most visitors we encountered were from France.

All very nice.
Only minus points:

• there is no activities for very little kids. Activities starts at 4 years old. We have 2 boys of 1,5 and 3 years old and we could participate to two activities only.
• the afternoon snack is made of sweet junk food. A big pity, and not in line with the meals at the restaurant where there is an illimitate choice of healthy and very slurpy food (I honestly loved everthing there).

Hi all! I have stayed at this resort about 4 times and it has always been a highlight of my year! From the minute you walk in, everyone is so kind a welcoming! Special shout out to all the GOs especially Lucie! She was so kind and caring and always knows how to make me smile❤️ I would absolutely recommend this resort for everyone and if you go to teens club, Lucie and Lenny are amazing!

A wonderful 14 night stay at La Caravelle.
Try to speak French..... even a couple of words gets you so far. The GO team are fantastic. We have come home with new friends that we call our 'French Children'. These young people have so much confidence, integrity, ability and 'joie de vivre' that you have difficulty not feeling that you are 25 again!
The Zen Oasis room was worth the extra money. Timing the holiday to coincide with the end of school holidays was better for us as we do not have any children of school age and whilst we are not averse to children it was quiter in the second week.
A big thank you to Clemence, Marguerite and Lucas for making our holiday so special and memorable. There are too may people to thank.... so apologies if we have not named you, but you will know when you read this that the 'Crazy English' couple send all their love to everyone at the resort!
