Cancún Mexico

Our experience at the Club Med Cancun resort was incredible from start to finish. We were part of the Jade exclusive resort and they truly made us feel special. On the first day, all of the bartenders and servers in that area already knew us by name. It was great to have access to a quieter pool and bar only for Jade guests. They also provided amazing snacks like 4pm crepes and 7pm appetizers. There were also lunch options and we chose to eat there for a few lunches. They also offered sunrise yoga twice per week to Jade guests beside the pool overlooking the ocean - beautiful. Thanks to Jonathan, our instructor.

The resort is large and has so many activities to take part in. Our large family group (15 people) enjoyed Pickleball, sailing, swimming, water slides, aqua fit, step class, Pilates, yoga, and more. The beach is beautiful with fine, white sand. The food was really great too.

The staff were really fun and made such an effort to make our vacation special. From the entertainment every evening, to singing and dancing, they never seemed to sit still.

Cristel, the manager for the Jade section of the hotel, was ready to help with any request. Her staff at the front desk were also very helpful, with Brigitte always willing to help with big smile.

The bartenders at Jade were also amazing , friendly people who knew us by name. Special shout out to Adamir, Luis, and Estacio for taking care of us.

Greg in the Excursion Office was very helpful organizing offsite excursions for us. He was very friendly and on top of all the details. Our excursions went very smoothly. One was an afternoon of deep sea fishing where we caught several fish. We were able to bring them back to Jade and have Chef Jaime prepare them for us on our last evening. It was a very special experience.

This trip was incredible, especially for the price. The coordination, staff, and activities are wonderful! There is always plenty to do if you want to. You could treat this as a wellness journey as there are plenty of exercise classes and healthy food choices, a week of indulgence as the beaches and pools are relaxing and the food is decadent, or an action packed vacation as there are tons of activities and things to do, even a water park! My only small complaint is that the mattress was a little uncomfortable, but I’m comparing it to my tempurpedic at home.

My son -13 years old- and I spent a week in this AMAZING Club Med. Starting from the pick up at the airport we felt like divas. Everything was perfect: the welcome (Brigitte and her 2 collaborators) at the Exclusive club Jade immediately made us jump in a dream. The permanence was a real treat. The food, the service, the excursion, the activities were organized naturally beautifully, smiling faces all the times, zero stress… we cannot wait to come back.

We had the most amazing getaway at Club Med Cancun! We stayed at the Jade exclusive collection section and the service was absolutely outstanding – the staff went above and beyond to ensure we had a memorable stay. Everyone from the reception to the staff working at the pool/ bar area were always welcoming and the service was exceptional.

The resort itself was spotless, with incredible attention to detail in cleanliness and organization. The wide range of activities offered was fantastic, the kids really enjoyed the new waterslide installations. The security of this new space was incredible and we felt safe as parents to have them play there giving us peace of mind.

The food selection was another highlight – diverse, fresh, and delicious, the quality of the food as well as the presentation of the food makes every dish appetizing!

Overall, Club Med Cancun provided the perfect balance of relaxation and excitement, making it an unforgettable experience. We can’t wait to return!

We just returned 5 days ago from a 9-day vacation at Club Med Cancun. It was overall an amazing holiday and I would definitely go again.

ACTIVITIES

• The fitness classes with MELANIE and SANDRY were extremely motivating (No Pain, No Champagne!).
• Afternoon yoga with MAGALI looking over the lagoon or at the beach was lovely.
• In archery, MISTER PAJAMA was a superb instructor.
• The afternoon Coffee Game with YOUYOU was always a hoot (especially the Letter game and capital cities)
• New Year's Eve - this was a truly fantastic ambiance. My only regret is not having a glass of champagne or sparkling wine on hand for the countdown.

OVERALL SERVICE
Hats off to all the GOs for their attentiveness, enthusiasm and helpfulness.

• JERSEY was always passing by our table or sunbed to ask if all was well.
• SAMARAN (adjoint Chef de Village) was eager to hear our critique of the house wine and did his best to rectify the situation.
• YOUYOU was always around to give directions, and did a fantastic job leading us in the crazy moves during evening dance sessions.

THE FOOD
Top marks for variety and quality. Watch out for the desserts. They are too good to resist.

Improvement needed:

• Room decor badly needs updating and the rooms could be cleaned better. The pink walls in the bathroom really need to go. The inside of the bathroom door looked like it hadn't been wiped down in years.
• The house red and white wines are not great. Surely there are better inexpensive wines (including from Mexico) that could be offered.
