La Plantation d'Albion Club Med Mauritius

The Club Med Albion village is breathtaking! The lush gardens and beautiful pools really give you that luxurious tropical feel we were looking for.

The fact that it’s truely all inclussive makes the holiday extra relaxing. Zero thinking needed. Just go to the apero, have some bubbly and grab whatever you want at the buffets before the fun evening entertainment.

What truly elevates Albion above anywhere else we’ve stayed is the people. The GOs and staff here don’t just do their jobs, they add that personal touch that makes the experience so special.

Cindy gave us the great welcome on arrival and immediately set the tone for what turned out to be a truly special holiday.

A huge shoutout to Thomas and Man from the sports team. They brought so much energy and personality to everything, and the 4pm beach volleyball sessions were honestly the highlight of my days. We had the best fun and loved getting to know them. The sports programme overall is exceptional.

My kids loved the mini-club and circus, as well as the freedom to be able to be autonomous when they wanted to just go hang out with their new fridnds. Big thanks to Michael and Elodie for their good humour and patience.

Vichy from restaurant management was a constant warm presence throughout our stay, makung us feel welcome and looked after at mealtimes. Also the food is just SO good. The quality of the beef for instance was amazing!

The bar team deserves a special mention too. Incredibly efficient, endlessly friendly, and mixing quality cocktails.

And finally, a heartfelt thank you to Andrea, Romain, and the rest of the village management team. The care and attention they give to every guest is something truly rare in hospitality. They were instrumental in making our holiday so magical.

What a place! Our first club med expérience and it was absolutely amazing. Honestly my best holidays ever! The location is stunning, one of the best I have seen in the island. The whole center is beautiful, vast and extremely clean and well designed. There is something for everyone, family, couples, young or older. We met lovely people and had so much fun. Both pools and the beach are amazing. The pictures really don't pay it justice, it's much much better in real life. The rooms were super spacious and each euros we spent coming there was worth it.
The staff is what makes it really really special and even if people come and go they manage to make you feel special at each minute. Special mention to Man, Thomas, Cindy and also Andrea. You guys were amazing and you deserve 10 stars.

Our stay at Club Med Mauritius was nothing short of incredible. From the moment we arrived, we were made to feel welcome, relaxed, and completely taken care of.

A very special thank you to the reception team—Nadine, Cindy, Sané, and Gary—who were always warm, professional, and ready to assist with anything we needed. Their friendliness truly set the tone for our entire stay.

In the sports area, Thomas, who oversees activities, went above and beyond in looking after my kids. His energy and attentiveness made a big difference. I would also like to give a special mention to the gentleman in charge of archery—although I unfortunately didn’t catch his name, he was outstanding and deserves recognition.

Dining at the resort was another highlight. Grant in the restaurant provided exceptional service—always welcoming, attentive, and consistent. There was also another long-serving gentleman in the restaurant, tall and Mauritian, whose experience and professionalism really stood out, even though I didn’t get his name.

A truly special mention must go to Mr. Vishy, the Food & Beverage Manager. He is, without a doubt, one of the most exceptional managers we have ever encountered. Every single evening, he personally made the effort to check in on us, ensuring everything was perfect and that our kids were happy and well taken care of. His presence is felt throughout the dining experience, and it’s clear that his leadership plays a huge role in maintaining the incredibly high standards at the resort. His warmth, professionalism, and genuine care made a lasting impression on our family.

Entertainment by the pool was fantastic thanks to Eloisa and Danilo, whose performances added such a vibrant atmosphere to our stay. What made them even more special was their willingness to engage with guests—taking time to chat, sit with us, and make us feel completely at home.

Transportation around the resort was seamless thanks to Keshav and all the buggy drivers. They were consistently polite, friendly, and efficient.

A special mention also goes to Crystal from the excursions team, who organized an absolutely fantastic boat trip for us—it was one of the highlights of our holiday.

If there is one small suggestion, it would be to consider allowing local visitors (friends or family living in Mauritius) to briefly visit guests at the resort for something simple like a coffee. This would add even more flexibility for international guests. That said, this did not take away from what was otherwise a perfect experience.

Lastly, if I have missed mentioning anyone by name, my sincere apologies—every single staff member we encountered was kind, professional, and contributed to making our stay so memorable.

Overall, this was a truly outstanding holiday made exceptional by the people. The level of service, warmth, and genuine care from the staff is what sets this resort apart.

We love this place and can't wait to return. We had the most wonderful holiday - again! It is difficult to change to a different clubmed because Albion has stolen our hearts! Particular service mention to Thomas and Ethan who both out did themselves. Romain was fantastic in helping us arrange a snorkling experience!

This was our third visit to Club Med La Plantation d’Albion, and once again we had a wonderful stay — we only wish it could have been longer.

The setting remains absolutely beautiful, with stunning views, a relaxed ambiance, and consistently good food. A special thank you to Ethan and Thomas, who truly went above and beyond to make our stay enjoyable — their service really stood out.

That said, the resort is definitely starting to show its age and would benefit from a refresh. We are looking forward to seeing the planned revamp in May this year.

We also felt that the experience was less personalised compared to our previous visits. We had communicated ahead of time, as well as on arrival, that we were celebrating both a birthday and a wedding anniversary during our stay. Unfortunately, no special effort or acknowledgment was made, which was disappointing and took away slightly from what is usually such a memorable experience.

We were travelling with friends, and it was also noticeable that the experience was inconsistent between families. Some received thoughtful touches such as complimentary chocolates or Club Med water bottles, while others did not, which made the overall experience feel uneven.

Overall, we still had a lovely holiday and would return, but hope to see some improvements in both the facilities and the level of personalised service in future.
