I recently had the pleasure of spending my skiing holiday at Club Med Tomamu, and it was truly an exceptional and unforgettable experience. Located in the heart of Hokkaido, Japan, this all-inclusive resort offers the perfect balance of adventure, comfort, and outstanding hospitality.

❄️ Skiing & Snow Activities

Club Med Tomamu is a paradise for winter lovers. The ski slopes are suitable for all levels, from beginners to advanced skiers, with convenient ski-in, ski-out access directly from the resort. Hokkaido’s famous powder snow is simply world-class—light, soft, and perfect for both skiing and snowboarding.
There are also wonderful activities for non-skiers, such as snow trekking, sledding, and ice skating, making the resort enjoyable for everyone. A very special thank you to Tan, who was incredibly kind and patient during my ski lessons.

🏨 Accommodation & Facilities

The rooms are modern, spacious, and beautifully maintained, offering stunning views of the snowy mountains. The resort itself has a warm and cozy atmosphere that makes you feel at home from the moment you arrive. After a long day on the slopes, relaxing in the indoor heated pool and the Japanese onsen (hot spring) was absolutely perfect.
My sincere thanks to Rosie, who was always kind, helpful, and made sure our room was perfectly clean and comfortable throughout our holiday.

🍽️ Food & Drinks

Dining at Club Med Tomamu was truly one of the highlights. The all-inclusive buffet offers an impressive variety of international and Japanese cuisine, including fresh seafood, sushi, ramen, and Hokkaido’s famous soft-serve ice cream. The open bar with unlimited drinks and cocktails added even more joy to our evenings.
A special thank you to Sandy, the lovely Thai GO at the Unkai Bar, for her wonderful service and warm hospitality.

🎉 Entertainment & Activities

Club Med Tomamu is full of life and positive energy. The GO team (Gentil Organisateurs) are enthusiastic, friendly, and creative, organizing daily activities, evening shows, games, and parties. The resort is also fantastic for families, with excellent kids’ programs and professional ski instructors, giving parents peace of mind while children enjoy unforgettable experiences.

What truly makes Club Med Tomamu special is its people. The staff genuinely go above and beyond to make every guest feel welcome and cared for. A heartfelt thank you to Ken at Reception for his warm smile, professionalism, and constant willingness to help.

I loved my yoga and stretching classes with Jean. I came back every day!! Chris B was also my ski instructor every day I requested him every day because it was a great class and I really improved from a complete beginner up to the end of club two in 6 days thanks to Chris B!

It's was our second trip to Club Med Tomamu and we loved our both visits. This time though it was more exciting skiing experience for me and my 11 y.o. daughter as we took a private ski lesson with Chris D (club 3) to polish our parallel turns. It was very valuable and fun lesson as by the end I could clearly notice the difference in our parallel turns especially on steeper slopes. Thank you Chris D for your lessons and tips! I am sure I will remember 4 elements of a perfect parallel turn in the future seasons.

An absolutely amazing experience with family and friends. The resort itself was very clean and luxurious, giving a very warm atmosphere and has an amazing buffet. There were also so many activities such as ice fishing and kids club, where reka made us have such a great time. Skiing was my highlight where I had the best instructor Emily who taught us so well.

Professional ski instructors for both adults and kids, like Austin, Brooke, Ruben and Willy. Warm and exceptional GOs, esp Maggie, made us feel like celebrating Christmas at home with friends. The team led by Logan never disappointed us at Tomamu and Sahoro before.
