It’s the people that made my Kiroro Peak stay so wonderfully exciting and relaxing!
5/5 • 08/04/2026
Such a joy to meet Maki and Rakesh again at the Restaurant! Once again, they provided me with so much warmth and kindness that I am missing them as I write this feedback.
Most value for money resort with great food & variety and excellent personal service. From check-in to ofura relaxation, the attention to customers' needs is top notch. Ski conditions are good although it's already April. Ski instructors very grounded and knowledgable.
Visited Kiroro Peak end of March 2026 - Spring Skiing!
Kiroro is in a great location - not too crowded and there was never a long wait for the chair lifts/ gondola. The ski slopes were not as good as last year's (less powder) and it was warmer this year. Nonetheless, we had great instructors - special shoutout to Marusa, Mersila and William. I also had the opportunity to ski with our Head Chef, Gabriel, in one of our classes. He was friendly and could ski well! It was nice to see staff of the resort also taking time to enjoy the facilities during their free time, allowing guests to mingle with them - the Club Med spirit!
The room we were in was smaller than last year's. We were on the 5th floor. It had an odd shape, and a sharp angle near the window - causing my husband to hit his head on the edge when he got up from the bed - he had a bruise and there was a small dent in the wallpaper. Responses and communication with reception can be lacking at times. We called, and was asked to text on whatsapp to see could change a room closer to the elevator but there was no reply. I wonder if the whatsapp is indeed in use? Room is otherwise clean, and bed was comfortable.
Entertainment was enjoyable this year. We would have preferred if the content/performance catered more to the Asian crowd as the majority of the guests were from Asia. We enjoyed the surprises from the Chef de Village - the night skiing with lights, fireworks, and champagne pouring.
We would like to thank Take, Liam, Alex, Aryanta for the lovely service.
Though this year's snow was less thick and velvety due to the warm weather, the ski instructors made up for everything with their experience and passion in teaching and having fun with us. Special thanks to Montach and Stephen from the UK who taught in Club 3, and Marusa from Slovenia taught in Club 4. They are all professional, patient and cheerful, helping us pick up new skills and we all had a wonderful time enjoying the slopes and the facilities. Also thanks to Chef Gabriel and CDV Eva who played an important part in our enjoyable experience. The only improvement, though, is the food quality which is comparatively less attractive than previous years, especially the desserts :)
